WILLEMSTAD – This Friday 153 students from the Founding Student grants Curacao (SSC) is leaving for the Netherlands to study there. Fourteen SSC students had already traveled ahead, bringing the total number of students this year to 167.

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (OWCS), Sixty-three van heaththorn (MFK), left for the Netherlands on Tuesday. He welcomed the incoming first-year students at Schiphol on Saturday morning. From heaththorn is also present at a conference and the opening of the SSC office in the Netherlands.

SSC arranges the study financing for those who go to the Netherlands or the region for their studies. The organization also helps with the registration for studies and housing arrangements.

Last year, 146 students came to the Netherlands to study.
