Virgil van Dijk celebrates with Kevin De Bruyne and Calvin Harris during Liverpool break

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk was spotted with Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne in Ibiza over the weekend, where the pair partied with world-famous DJ Calvin Harris. Both players will remain on extended leave following their performances for the Netherlands and Belgium at Euro 2024 this summer.

Van Dijk led his country to the semi-finals of the tournament in Germany, but fell short after a 2-1 defeat to England earlier this month. However, a photo on Harris’ Instagram appears to have brushed aside his concerns.

Van Dijk can be seen posing alongside Harris and De Bruyne at Ushuaia Ibiza, a famous venue on the Spanish party island, as the trio dance the night away. Like the 33-year-old, the Man City superstar is also enjoying a well-deserved day off following Belgium’s elimination in the round of 16 at Euro 2024.

Both players appeared to be in good spirits as they smiled for the camera in the dimly lit nightclub last weekend, with both putting their club football on hold for a while before finally returning for the 2023-24 season.

Van Dijk was spotted a few days earlier alongside NBA superstar LeBron James at an event in London for the launch of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s new Gin & Juice drink. Eminem also made a special appearance in the capital.

Partying with a host of A-list stars at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace in Shepherd’s Bush, the Dutchman once again enjoyed himself on the red carpet, where he was joined by the likes of Jude Bellingham, Idris Elba, Jeremy Renner and Shaquille O’Neal. LeBron was also in attendance and had time to meet the Liverpool captain as the pair were photographed together.
