ASSA ABLOY acquires SKIDATA

ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement to acquire SKIDATA, a global provider of access management solutions.

Founded in 1977, SKIDATA is part of the Public Access division of the Swiss listed Kudelski Group (SWX:KUD) and has approximately 1,280 employees. SKIDATA is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria and will be part of the Business Segment Pedestrian within the Entrance Systems Division.

Sales for 2023 amounted to approximately MEUR 305 (approx. MSEK 3,500). The acquisition will initially have a small dilutive effect on earnings per share.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024.
