Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark have released a rare photo of their extended family on a summer holiday, showing the children now all grown up!

Following a royal tradition, the couple has returned to their favorite vacation spot: a house called Château de Cayx in France.

According to Hello magazineThis is where Prince Joachim and Princess Marie are currently staying with their young children Count Henrik and Countess Athena.

In the photo shared by those involved, the children pose in the garden of their country house in the south of France, together with their half-brothers Count Nikolai and Count Felix.

This seemed like a real moment of bonding because of the age difference between the two: Count Henrik is 15, Countess Athena is 12 and Count Nikolai is 24.

Count Felix celebrated his 22nd birthday today, July 22. He celebrated his big day with 11-year-old British Prince George.

The four children held each other for the photo, while accompanied by their dog Cerise.

Behind it was the beautiful landscape that was owned by a Danish family. It was covered with vineyards, where wine had been produced for centuries.
