Tijani aims for more goals for Plymouth Argyle

Nigerian striker Muhammad Tijani is determined to score regularly for Sky Bet Championship side Plymouth Argyle.

Tijani scored twice in Argyle’s 5-1 win over EFL League Two club Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

The former Flying Eagles striker scored his first goal of the match nine minutes before half-time.

The 24-year-old scored his second goal a minute before the hour mark.

The striker indicated he was keen to score more goals for Wayne Rooney’s side after the first match of pre-season.

“We are going into the season with the same hunger. A big thank you to our fans who came to Whaddon Road,” Tijani wrote on X.

The striker was loaned from Czech club Slavia Prague last month and left Argyle.
