Belgian midfielder Amadou Onana underwent a medical at Villa yesterday in preparation for a proposed £50million move from Premier League rivals Everton.

That brings them to eight incoming players, with a move to a ninth looming, but it would also see academy graduate Ramsey leave Villa Park.

According to reports in Argentina, Tottenham are willing to pay £20million plus Lo Celso to bring Ramsey to north London.
