Transfer update: Former Flying Eagles star ready for Belgian move

Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi, former striker of the Nigerian Flying Eagles, is on the verge of moving to a Belgian club, reports Oud Heverlee Leuven, BSNSports.com.ng.

The tall forward joined Italian Serie A team Salernitana last summer, but was unable to wear a regular shirt there.

According to the update, the Belgian club has agreed to a transfer fee of €1.8 million + 10% resale. The rest is for the clubs to exchange documents to complete the transfer.

The deal is expected to last three years and the player will undergo a medical in Belgium on Monday.
