The events marking the 50th anniversary of the restoration of democracy in Greece began on Sunday in the presence of Greek President Katerina Sakellaropolou, Athens Mayor Haris Doukas and a large number of citizens in the garden of the presidential palace, ANA reports.
Sakellaropoulou and those present had the opportunity to visit a special exhibition with 60 works by more than 12 well-known cartoonists, who recorded with their pens in the newspapers of that time the first year after the dictatorship, from July 1974 to August 1975.
