After years of trying, Tim Gajser of team HRC finally achieved the overall victory at the Loket circuit in the Czech Republic. He finished 3-1 and caused exuberant scenes of joy among the many Slovenian fans who had travelled north to support their hero.

In the MX2 class, Kay de Wolf of Neestan Husqvarna triumphs despite the bad stars and wins the overall classification with a 4-1 result.
