University of Surrey Vice Chancellor Future Leaders Award 2024 for Developing Countries

This prestigious award recognises academic excellence and is presented to selected students commencing studies at the University of Surrey in September 2024, who understand corporate social responsibility and have the potential to become future leaders.

About the price: The scholarship is awarded as a fee-paying grant of £7,500. It is open to self-funded international students who are fee-paying and resident in specific countries. The programme is application-based and awards are determined by a Scholarship Awards Panel. The Panel considers previous academic performance, predicted grades (if applicable) and the personal statement to make their decision.

Type: Masters

Qualify: To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a tuition-paying foreign student resident in one of the following countries: Algeria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Peru, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam and Zimbabwe
  • Hold an offer to undertake a full-time degree programme in Surrey in September 2024. This must be a Bachelor’s degree at FHEQ level 4 (first year) or a full-time Masters degree, taught at the Guildford campus
  • Be self-funded (you must pay for your own studies and not be sponsored or receive any other grant)
  • This scholarship is not available to students of the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC)
  • Candidates receiving a Future Leaders Scholarship will not be eligible for any other Surrey scholarship.

This scholarship cannot be combined with the alumni discount.

  • This scholarship is based on application. Surrey providers can apply via the online form.
  • Applications will be reviewed monthly between April and July 2024
  • Applications for this scholarship close on July 31, 2024
  • You must have an offer (for admission in September 2024) from the university to complete the scholarship application form
  • Applications without a valid student card and offer will not be assessed.
