Actor Sumona Chakravarti, who will soon be seen in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, recently cleared the air about her exit from Kapil Sharma’s show. In an interview, she clarified that she has neither been fired nor resigned from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Sumona denied all the rumours and also said that she is not angry with Sharma.

Sumona, in an interview with News18said, “I’ve said this before, I was part of a show that ended in July of last year, and it’s not like you left, or I left, or I got fired, the show ended in July and then we all moved on. Then we went on to our own projects.”

She continued, “I am doing ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. He (Kapil Sharma) did another show. It’s just that there is no bad blood at all. Why should I be angry (with Kapil)? He and I have worked together before, and I have been to Romania.”

Sumona played a pivotal role in Kapil Sharma’s comedy shows ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ and later ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

The ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hai’ actor is now back in India after filming ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ in Romania.

‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ is set to premiere on July 27. Sumona also shared her experience of the stunt reality show and said that she is surprised by herself and is extremely excited that the show is going on air.
