‘Shirtless’ Lamine Yamal spends much-needed time off in Greece on holiday after successful Euro campaign – FirstSportz

Laminate Yamal is truly the man of the moment. The 17-year-old shot to instant stardom after a successful European Championship with Spain in Germany. With goals against Germany, France and England, the teenager has captured the attention of the world. Now that tournament football is over, players have returned to their clubs with pre-season games at various clubs.

FC Barcelona have decided to give their Spanish players who reached the final some much-needed time off. Yamal took advantage of his mini-vacation to fly to Greece, from where he shared photos and videos on social media. The teenager’s Instagram following has almost doubled to 17 million since the start of the Euros.

He shared a shirtless video of himself in a yacht, sailing along the coastline of Greece. Yamal also posted stories about his luxury resort and yacht on Instagram, and fans shared the same on social media.

Supporters were happy that the youngster could finally get some rest after a hectic few months with his club and country.

At 17, Yamal performed exceptionally well by scoring 17 goals in 50 games during the 2023/24 season. Pedri was the recipient of the award in 2021 after breaking into Barcelona’s midfield under Ronald Koeman.

Pedri is currently injured after receiving a hard tackle from the former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos at the European Championship.

Next to Yamal is Real Madrid’s EndrickParis Saint-Germain Warren Zaire-Emery and that of Manchester United Kobbie Mainoo are all in the running to claim the prestigious prize. With the arrival of Kylian Mbappe for Real Madrid, it remains to be seen whether Barcelona can respond to the power of Los Blancos. Fans will be hoping that Yamal and co. live up to their reputation in a season that has seen Hansi Flick has taken over the position of manager.
