MANILA, Philippines—Filipino gymnasts, led by two-time Olympian Carlos Yulo, have arrived at the Olympic Village in France in preparation for the Summer Olympics in Paris, which officially open Friday (Saturday in Manila).

The Olympic Village is expected to accommodate over 14,000 athletes.

The 24-year-old Yulo is one of the first Filipino athletes to compete for the first time at the Paris Games, along with boxer Eumir Marcial and rower Joanie Delgaco.

The Philippines has 22 betting sites across nine sports in Paris.

Levi Jung-Ruivivar completes the Philippine gymnastics team for the Olympic Games.

Yulo, world champion on floor exercises in 2019 and vault in 2021, hopes to rehabilitate himself on the Olympic stage after failing to live up to expectations at the Tokyo Games three years ago.
