RB Salzburg slashes price tag on Milan target Pavlovic

Paulo Fonseca can return to Milan after yesterday’s friendly against Rapid Wien with some technical insights to work on. The management now has the task of providing him with at least two more reinforcements in this transfer market, after the recent official arrival of Álvaro Morata.

While waiting for the announcement of who will be this season’s ‘second’ striker, Milan are looking to finalise talks this week on Strahinja Pavlović and Youssouf Fofana, two important pieces to complete the Portuguese coach’s puzzle.

Milan is betting on Strahinja Pavlović, just like the Serbian defender of Red Bull Salzburg, to whom he has already expressed his wish to move to the Rossoneri during this transfer market.

There is still a rift between the parties at the moment, but the advanced state of negotiations suggests that Milan could close the deal for Pavlović within this week. Initially, it was requested 30 million eurosSalzburg immediately lowered the price to 25 million euroswhile Milan has not progressed further than 18 million euros plus bonuses for a total of 20 million eurosThe gap exists, but it is not huge, with Tuttosport which suggests that it is possible to close the deal somewhere in between, around 22 million euros. We will see.
