UPDATED World Rugby Rankings after Springboks beat Portugal

The Springboks hung on them top position on the world rugby rankings after their 64-21 victory over Portugal at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The world champion Springboks’ scoring was unchanged – as was the case for Portugal, which in 15th place.

Other results around the world this weekend also had little impact on the rankings.

Italy Picked up a point after beating Eddie Jones’s Japan side 42-14 at the Sapporo Dome in Japan, but finished eighth.

Australia Picked up 0.27 points after their 40-29 to convince Georgia at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney, but finished no higher than ninth.

The next rugby match will take place during the Rugby Championship, which could shake up the rankings.
