Multinational EOD partners train combined insertion at RIMPAC 2024

U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians work with partners from Korea, Mexico, Peru and the Netherlands during rapid rope insertion and rappel interoperability training from a U.S. Army UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter assigned to Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, during exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024, Bellows Air Force Station, Hawaii, July 18. Twenty-nine nations, 40 surface ships, three submarines, 14 national land forces, more than 150 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC in and around the Hawaiian Islands, June 27-Aug. 1. RIMPAC is the world’s largest international maritime exercise, providing a unique training opportunity while fostering and maintaining the cooperative relationships among participants that are critical to ensuring the safety of shipping lanes and the security of the world’s oceans.
