Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (28) will travel to Olympique de Marseille in the coming days, sources said. The team And Foot marketThe Ligue 1 club are said to have reached an agreement with the London Premier League club over a loan deal with a €15 million purchase obligation for the transfer of the Denmark international. Marseille were in need of an experienced midfielder and appear to have acted quickly to secure the arrival of the Tottenham midfielder, who has fallen out of favour with Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Foot market reports that Hojbjerg was keen to move abroad after spells at Southampton and Tottenham. The 85-cap Denmark international joined Tottenham in 2020 and was contracted to Spurs until 2025. The outlet reports that Hojbjerg played with Marseille Sporting advisor Medhi Benatia during their time together at Bayern Munich.

Marseille head coach Roberto De Zerbi has given the green light for the move. Hojbjerg is set to sign a four-year contract with Marseille, who welcome another Premier League player after Mason Greenwood (22). The Phoceans are also pushing to sign Wolves striker Hwang Hee-chan (28) and Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah (25).
