Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has taken an unconventional approach to off-season training, going back to basics, including chopping wood and hiking in the mountains of Norway.

The 23-year-old striker, who reportedly earns £865,000 (Ksh144 million) a week, has opted for a free, low-tech training regime in preparation for the upcoming season, showing that sometimes simplicity is the key.
