Great jobs for people coming to the UK, they are scarce and well paid

With the cost of living in the UK rising, many professionals are looking for opportunities that offer not only stability but also a competitive salary. According to the latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), some sectors are notable for their high wages and labour shortages.

Chief executives and senior executives top the list, with an average annual salary of €84,131, which represents a gain of 140% on the national average. In second place, marketing, sales and advertising directors earn around €83,015 per year, 137% more than the national average salary. IT directors are also highly valued, with an average annual salary of €80,000, 128% higher than the national average.

Sites like Indeed, LinkedIn and TotalJobs are essential for those looking for these opportunities. They make it easy to search for jobs from multiple sources, while LinkedIn not only lists jobs but also connects professionals with recruiters. TotalJobs offers thousands of high-paying opportunities and career advice.

In addition to substantial wage increases, ONS data shows a 5.8% increase in average wages in April 2023 compared to the previous year, which is higher than inflation. Workers aged 40 to 49 and those living in London are benefiting the most from these favourable wage trends.
