BUCHAREST, July 20 (Bernama-Xinhua) — A collision between a locomotive and a passenger train at Bucharest’s Basarab station on Friday night injured 15 people, local authorities said, Xinhua reported.

According to emergency services, eight people have been hospitalized.

According to local media, 10 fire trucks, all available medical resources, two rescue vehicles, a multi-victim transport vehicle and a mobile hospital were sent to the scene.

The Romanian Railway Investigation Agency has indicated that it will investigate the incident.
