That preparation also means a lot of talking. The training camp in Austria is the ideal opportunity to talk to each other. “We talk a lot in the dressing room or during dinner. Everyone is open to each other,” says Pröpper, who also discusses the breadth of the selection. “We expect a lot from each other to take the next step. It’s a cliché, but we need everyone in the selection. There are a lot of matches coming up, so everyone gets their chance.”
